My sister, Lily Lanken, and I started The Mittenstrings, a folk-pop band in 2008. We have played in Montreal many times over the last couple of years, including at Pop Montreal in 2008 and 2009.
In December, 2008, we released our first record, The Mittenstrings. And in November, 2010, we released our second disc, the five-song EP Five. Both records are available on iTunes.
In January, 2009, we were mentioned in the Guardian music blog.
